New Jersey: A Photographic Tribute To The Garden State

This 2014 book, published by NJBIz, that celebrated New Jersey's 350th Anniversary.  I was contacted through editor, Andrew Miller, who saw my photographs on Instagram.  He requested that I submit photographs that I thought represented New Jersey.  Two were selected and can be found on pages 25 and 30.

"Harlem, Through Your Lens"

The New York Times Opinion section requested submissions for what defined Harlem for its readers.  The photograph selected showed the juxtaposition of Harlem residents outside a ubiquitious sign of gentrification.  Someone close to me often says "Coffee is culture".  In this case, it represents a clash between past, present, and future.
